Grand Rapids Elite Challenge Results

On Saturday, the girls competed in the GR Elite Challenge Meet at Housman Field in Grand Rapids. The team placed 3rd out of 12 teams. We had a number of excellent performances during this meet.
Event winners include the following:
400m Dash- Faith White- with a new sophomore record time of 59.94!
100m Hurdles- Morgan Miller
3200m Run- Abby Olson with a PR of 11:20!
The Distance Medley Relay (DMR)- Andrea Kennedy, Anna Smyk, Taylor Schott, and Abby Olson.

Caledonia Results

The girls earned their first OK Red conference win of the season against Caledonia- 83-54. Official results are available here. There were 51 PRs established by our team! The team competed well and we will look at continuing to improve against Grand Haven on Thursday. Our 1st home meet!

HUDSONVILLE MEET RESULTS

Last night the girls competed against Hudsonville in our opening OK Red meet. It was close, but ultimately Hudsonville won 74.5-62.5. The girls ran pretty well overall. This is just the beginning. Now we will look toward improving in each of our events moving forward.

In other news, the meet against Caledonia has moved from Tuesday 4/18 to Mon 4/17. Please make the changes for your schedules and sorry about the late notice!

This week:
Monday- Normal practice until 5:15pm
Tuesday- NO PRACTICE- represent WO well on the SAT and PSAT tests!
Wednesday- Away meet against Hudsonville @ Baldwin St Complex/stadium in Hudsonville. Starts at 4:30. Should be a great meet. Hope to see you there!
Thursday- Normal practice until 5:15pm
Friday- TEAM PICTURES- remember uniform and picture form!
